What Is ABA Therapy?

Applied Behavior Analysis, often called ABA therapy, is an evidence-based method of teaching children to learn new behaviors through small, easy-to-learn steps, and positive reinforcement. Principles of ABA are applied to help children successfully:

  • Potty Train

  • Adaptive Living (Dressing, Bathing, Cleaning up)

  • Play and Recreation

  • Social Skills

  • School Preparation

ABA is used to decrease sensory seeking or avoidant behaviors

Led by Board Certified Behavioral Analysts who write individualized programs, track progress, supervise therapists, and communicate with caregivers, our New York ABA therapy center can provide hope and happiness to children and families!
